About the Workshop

Mobile operator and financial institution executives need to understand the mobile money business models available to them, as well as the regulatory environment surrounding mobile money. But, uncertain and often restrictive regulatory frameworks profoundly affect this new area of business in many countries. So, how do you develop the best model for a particular country context?

This one-day, interactive workshop, presented by Bankable Frontier Associates, is designed to train telecommunications and financial sector executives how to assess the available mobile money business models, understand the regulatory environment and choose the best model for a given country. Regulators are also invited as they will benefit from understanding the models and choices from the providers' perspective.

Registration for the Executive Training is now closed. Please email Ruth Bravo at rbravo@gsm.org to register interest in future Executive Training.
